Well 2008 was a big year for me, or I guess I should say a big October. This past October 3 I turned the big 3-0... 30, which I was very excited about and am happy to say. Then 5 days later on October 8th I gave birth to our second baby girl Sophia Katherine and on this very day my husband Garth got a phone call that he had been offered a new job in Austin, Texas. Needless to say the rest of October, November and December has been a blurr of sleepless nights for all caused by new baby, new job for Garth, Garth traveling back and forth from Tulsa to Austin working, new house (still have the old one too), relocation of our 19-month old Izabella and 3-month old Sophia to a completely different state, unpacking our new house and traveling back to Tulsa once a month to take care of business and of course spend time with close friends and family... I think that just about brings you up to speed. My friend Lisa and her three girls along with my mom came to visit us this past week and Lisa helped me set up my blog and I am now a blogger... who knew. Anyway, I hope to post daily... or weekly... or monthly, who knows... but that is the plan for now.
OHHHHH...Yeah! You did it! By the way I like the background! Very classy! Pics sister..I need to see those babies and hear abut any bad habits they may have picked while we wre there.
ReplyDeleteYea for blogging! I can't wait to read what comes next...
ReplyDeleteHey Nat! I can't believe it's been so long since we've seen each other! Your girls are beautiful! Funny, we, too, still own our house in Tulsa but live in Texas. We moved here half way through my pregnancy with Joseph so it's been pretty crazy for us as well. I hope you are all doing well. I'd LOVE to catch up sometime! Miss you girl!

I am so glad to see this. Now I can catch up everyday on my baby girls! I miss them so much. I have a pic of Sophie in her St Patty's Day attire from Garths facebook album as my background for awhile. No one at the office has really seen Sophie! LOL something about when that second child comes along there aren't quiet as many photos as there was of the first!
